Well November is rapidly disappearing, and December and the festivities rapidly approaching.

We are gearing up here at Proptrack for the OPPLive 08 exhibition at the Excel in London on the 25th & 26th November. We have a great stand in conjunction with HiFX, where you can see Proptrack in action for the first time, or for those already using Proptrack, you can come and visit us on the stand.

We are all busy here with the final preperations for what will the best show to date.

We look forward to welcoming you on the stand at OPP, near the main stage.

New Proptrack Software Update - V1.0.2.2

We have just updated the current release of proptrack to V1.0.2.2 which includes some of the latest enhancements and updates to proptrack:

Export Properties From Property Search Page Within proptrack you can now create a quick search or advanced search, and instead of clicking on the 'Search Now' Button, you can use the Action Menu on the bottom left hand side to select the option 'Export Properties' from the drop down list, and then click on the 'blue arrow' to submit your search and create an export to one of the export XML formats in proptrack. If your agent administrator has not provided you with the permission to export properties, you will not be able to use this option to export properties from proptrack.

Changes to the Global Agent Collaboration Network We have made some filtering and search changes within the Global Agent Collaboration Network Area. To see the new changes, click on the settings tab, and then click on the 'collaborations' sub menu. You will see now that not only do you have the list of all the agents by default, by you can also use the click link buttons 'All Agents and Developers', 'Property Agents', 'Rental Agents' and 'Property Developers' to sort the list by each Agent Type in proptrack. You can also refine the list down further by clicking on the option on the same bar 'Advanced Search', in addition to the Agent country location and the Agent Region, you can also search by Product Country and Product Region, therefore increasing your search options for collaborating agents and developers in proptrack.

Development Searches We have enhanced the development searches, now when you click on the 'Developments' tab, then click on 'Search' you will see on the search page next to the country location, for example Spain, that in brackets the number of Developments that have been added are displayed here. Please Note: The development may not have any units added to it, it is only a count of the number of Developments that have been added.

Development Searches The developer list on the search page now only lists the developers that have created developments, the list no longer includes Developers that have added no developments into proptrack. Again the development may not have any units added to it, it is only those with developments added.

Development Searches Finally for development searches, you can now search on more than one developer under the 'developer' search option. Previously you could only search on one developer at a time.

We have also made some changes to the permissions within proptrack for staff, these include the new permissions for 'all buyers' and 'all sellers' which are now separated into two separate permissions rather than one joint permission, and the change to the collaborations permission which is now only under its own heading for 'collaborations' rather than Global Agent Settings.

All these updates will be updated in the online manuals and quick start help guides over the coming weeks, with a completely new Proptrack Online Help Manual being released with all the latest updates. Watch this space for the launch information of the new online help system.

Next proptrack Update Coming Soon

We are busily working away here at proptrack constantly enhancing proptrack. We are currently testing another release that will soon be updated for everyone to use, V1.0.2.2. This new release is expected to be made available to everyone at the begining of October, so keep an eye out for the version change on the your Internet Browsers explorer bar.

There are a few minor changes in this version and some slight enhancements. Watch this space for more information on the new release.

New Proptrack Software Update - V1.0.2.0 & V1.0.2.1

We are still busy working on continual updates to proptrack, and have just released a new update, V1.0.2.0 & V1.0.2.1 in the last 48 Hours. Both of these new versions include some great features:

Agent Messaging System (AMS) The proptrack Agent Messaging System allows agents to post B2B 'Property Wanted' and 'Property for Sale' notices to each other, further enhancing the collaboration networks that agents are able to create within proptrack. Post your B2B notice on the forums under the AMS section (http://community.proptrack.com), once your post has been approved it will then appear not only on the forum itself, but also within the AMS Proptrack News Feed that you can place on your desktop.

Custom Search Areas We recently released custom search results where you were able to customise various views that you would wish to see when you have completed a property search. We have taken this a step forward and created the ability to save custom search areas within proptrack. If you search regularly on particular areas, you can save these search areas on the map and use these when you perform a property search. To create a custom search area, click on the 'settings' tab, under 'my account' you will see the option on the right hand side to create search area, click on this link to select a search area on the map and then save the search area to be used at a later date.

We have made some changes over the recent weeks to the CSV imports for properties, rentals and developments & Units, and there are many more changes planned over the coming months, including, but in no particular order, Newsletter Statistics, XML Imports, New Portal Exports and many more.

Watch this space for more information on the latest releases and future release information. If you would like to assist in the future development of proptrack and have suggestions how we could improve our software, please raise a feature request using the support ticketing function. Your feature request will be discussed for inclusion during the enhancement of the software function and scheduled for possible inclusion into a future release of proptrack. Our Support System in Proptrack Getting support in proptrack is easy. Use the support link on the top right hand within proptrack for: Support tickets - let us know your problems and questions Suggesting new features - let us know what you think would be useful, your feature may become part of a future release of proptrack Online Help Manual - you can use the manual to provide you with help using proptrack The support function will connect you directly with one of the proptrack support team, who will investigate your query and then provide you with feedback which you can see under the Support section. Alternatively you can contact us by phone on 0871 250 2468 or 0034 952 768 102 and speak to the support centre direct. You will be asked to confirm your identity using the security features in the support area of proptrack. Proptrack Community Use the proptrack community to network with other agents, find help and assistance from the other community members and the proptrack support team or check up on the latest news within proptrack. To use the community website, visit the community website at http://community.proptrack.com, create a username and password and you are ready to begin. Getting Started – Importing Data into Proptrack If you already have your contacts or properties stored in other applications, you are able to import this data into proptrack. Proptrack supports XML & CSV imports, enabling you to quickly transfer across your data. To look at how you can import your data into proptrack, click here Data Migration Assistance During the month of September and October, we are offering existing proptrack users 'Free Migration Assistance' to assist you importing your CSV or Proptrack XML formatted data into proptrack. If you require assistance in importing or exporting your data, why not contact the support team and book your migration assistance appointment today, or alternatively use the support link on the right hand side in proptrack to raise a ticket for further assistance. Data Backups The database in proptrack is fully backed up on a daily basis, however you are also able to backup your properties, contacts and companies to your computer or network location within proptrack. You can backup your data for any month in the last 6 months or select ALL to backup all your data. If you want to see the backup page now click here to take you to the backup screen in proptrack. Top Tip Did you know you can customise your property search results using the new custom results views in proptrack? You can save results views that you wish to see when you are with clients, as well as more detailed views that you may wish to see, for example with the agent name and the commission. You can even rearrange these views into an order of your choice. The search results for resale properties are now fully customisable! Europeanproperty.com property export We are please to announce the new portal export now available within proptrack to Europeanproperty.com. To export your properties for inclusion on Europeanproperty.com, go to the 'settings' tab in proptrack and click on 'data' and then select 'Export'. You will now see that you can export your properties to the list of portals in proptrack by selecting option 1, under 'property export'.	Enhanced Property Searches We have just enhanced the property searches in the quick and advanced searches, allowing you to search within the address of properties. You can also now complete a multiple reference search using the 'reference search' tab in proptrack, add in your property reference, to add more click the link (add reference) to allow you to add more references, this is an excellent option for typing in unrelated property references to create a viewing or mailing out information to your clients. We have also update the Quick Search widget on your desktop to allow you to search by reference, key reference and by vendor, making searching within proptrack far more powerful. Proptrack Software Updates

At proptrack we are constantly updating and imporving our software. We have recently released V1.0.1.9 with a number of property search enhancements and enhancements to the CSV imports into proptrack for Rentals, Properties, Developments and Development Units.

We are now busily working on the next release of proptrack, V1.0.2.0, which will include further search results enhancements. There are many changes planned over the coming months, and we will keep you updated with these changes here on the forums.

If you have any suggestions for proptrack that you think would be useful, let us know, it may be included into a future release of proptrack.

We have been really busy here at proptrack testing and releasing the latest version of proptrack. A new proptrack version (V1.0.1.9) has just been released, with some enhancements and updates, providing you with more functionality and customisability of proptrack.

Some of the new features and enhancements in proptrack include:

You can now from the search page, decide how you want to display your searches by creating ‘search profiles'. You will see that on the right hand side, there is now the capability to create your search results profiles, and organize your columns depending on the view that you want to display. For example, you may wish to have a ‘client view' were only certain column headings are available, or if you wish, you could add the column for the property commission to be displayed in your own personal search results view.

To manage all the profiles that you create, click on the ‘Settings' tab, ‘My Account' and then ‘custom search results' from the right hand side manage your options.

In addition to the search results, we have also enhanced the CSV data imports (these can be found on the ‘Settings' tab under the heading ‘Data'. CSV imports are currently available for:

Rental Imports
Development/Unit Imports (for Developer Accounts)
Property Imports
Company Imports
Contact Imports

www.europeanproperty.com portal export now available in proptrack

A new property export from within Proptrack to the property portal www.europeanproperty.com is now available. You can now create an export from Proptrack that will be recognised by Europeanproperty.com , enabling you to now simplify your portal exports.

Since last writing, we have been busy here in the office testing the new updates to the property searches, and working through the usual month of August Holidays.

The 'Do you want to......' campaign is running at full speed now, and issues 3 and 4 and go out. These emails contain excellent helpful hints and tips and information on how to get the most out of proptrack. We are going to be starting to create some report templates for Agents to use in Proptrack. As these reports are going to be used by you, we are looking for some feedback from you all as to what reports would be useful to you, and an idea of the information you would like the report to contain.

These reports can be for any section of proptrack, we are looking for the feedback from you to begin generation of some report templates.

Collaborations

Its been a while since my last post, so I thought I would post something that seems to be a popular support post at the moment ......... COLLABORATIONS.

Within proptrack you are able to create collaborations between agents and developers. To create an agent collaboration, for example, goto the collaborations tab (Settings/collaborations) you will see a list of all agents in your region. You can search for other regions using the 'advanced search' option. If you want to see a list of your collaborations, click on the link on the right hand side 'my agent collaborations', from here you can see your active collaborations (default) as well as your pending and rejected collaborations. If any agents have sent you a collaborations, they will be displayed in the pending collaborations section.

To collaborate with an agent, click on the agent name, you can then click on '+ approach to collaboration'. Complete the details in the popup box and send the collaboration over to the agent.

Please note: To finalise the collaboration, the other agent must click on 'accept'. The collaborations created in proptrack are not bound by any legal agreements, therefore it is recommended that you also followup the collaborations within proptrack with your standard agency collaboration paperwork.

We have had some comments that some agents are slow to confirm collaborations. It is always recommended that you followup your collaboration with an email of phone call to the agent.

To ensure that you do not miss a collaboration coming into your agency, ensure that the widget 'sharing manager' is added to your desktop (on you desktop page, click 'add widget' and then select 'sharing manager' from the list on the right hand side), you will then be able to see on a daily basis agents that wish to collaborate with you. Each time a collaboration is sent to an agent from you, it is backed up with an email directly from proptrack, but this email may be missed by the other agent, therefore it is always good to followup the request with personal contact.
