Is it possible to generate an xml file for a single property with data fileds populated, in order to assist in the design of the xsl-fo based window cards?

Hi,

Newbie I'm afriad.

I also need to export the XML for a single property to assist in designing a Window Card using a WYSIWYG XSL-FO editor.  However the post on this thread that explains how seems to have been deleted.

Could you let me know how to do this (if it is possible) please.

Hi Chris,

Easiest thing to do is to go in and produce a full xml feed, lob off all the properties except for one and then use that.

Full XML feed can be generated via: https://live.proptrack.com/agents/settings/data/property/export

Then just select Proptrack as the provider.

Do you know of a decent WYSIWYG XSL-FO editor that works with the proptrack XSL-FO files?

Hi Chris,

Generally I just hand code XSL but you can also use Stylus Studio from www.stylusstudio.com but there quite a few other ones out there.

You should search Google for "XSL-FO Processor", this is the software used to work with XSL FO.

If you are a beginner then get to grips with XSL FO basics here: www.w3schools.com/xslfo/

In addition, be sure to have lots of coffee on standby because you will be burning the midnight oil.
