    Hi Caroline,

Open up your excel spreadsheet and then click on 'File' and then 'Save As'.  You need to save your excel spreadsheet as a CSV file to enable you to begin impprting the file into proptrack.

When you have done this go to https://live.proptrack.com/agents/settings/data/csv/import/contact which will take you to the client import CSV Wizard to begin importing your file.  YOu will need to browse and enter the location of the CSV file and follow the instructions to import the file into proptrack.

If you have any problems or queries, please click on the support link on the top right hand side within proptrack to raise a support ticket in the software and obtain help from the proptrack support team when importing information.

    Hope this helps!

    Re: Import client details

    Hi Caroline,

A CSV file is a format that proptrack can use to import your client data.  You cannot import an excel spreadsheet into proptrack directly as proptrack will not be able to distinguish what field details go where.

You are able to convert your excel spreadsheet into a CSV file, so that proptrack will be able to read the information and import your clients into proptrack.

To do this, open your excel file that has your client data in it.  You now need to save this data as a CSV file.  To do this, click on the File menu and then choose the option 'save as'.  Type in a name for the file, and change the file to from excel to .CSV file (it is in a drop down list, scroll down and you will find it).  This will now have saved the file with an extension of .csv which can now be imported into proptrack.

If you have any further queries, please raise a support ticket in proptrack by clicking on the support link on the top right hand side.  This will then come through to the support team who are able to assist you.

Alternatively, you can use one of our technical partners to assist you in converting your files and migrating your data into proptrack, please find more information about our partners on the partner tab within proptrack.

Hope this makes things a little clearer for you.
